Dino Kingdom first opened its doors in 2006 in Drumheller, Alberta. Since then, they have been sharing their love of dinosaurs with the world! In 2019, they expanded their operations to include a second location in Ontario. The Ontario location is where we spent the day exploring.
When you first walk in, you are greeted by a life-size replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex! You can even learn all about its anatomy and see a real cast of its bones on display. Then, we walked through the different time periods of the dinosaurs. They had so many fascinating facts and stories to share about each one. We even got to see a baby Triceratops hatch from its egg!
After learning all about the different types of dinosaurs, we walked through the Devonian period. This was when fish first started to evolve into land animals. It was really amazing to see how these creatures have changed over time. We even got to see a live fish hatchery where they were breeding different species of fish.
All in all, we had an incredible day at Dino Kingdom Canada. If you love dinosaurs (or even if you just find them interesting), then this is definitely the place for you!
